This course is a beginner's orientation to plans reading and interpretation. It provides the student with instruction on plan nomenclature, sheet views, sheet types, common symbols, scaling, red-lining, and special focus on grounding details, one-line drawings, controls drawings, schedules, and an introduction to construction specifications and equipment cut sheets.
 
Following this course, the student will be able to read and interpret plans, interpret specifications, create red-line drawings determine material quantities and more.
